Since we came to live in Fort William in September 2002 we have had a steady stream of visitors - friends from our previous lives elsewhere, and friends of friends.

The photo albums accessible from this webpage are presented primarily for the interest of these visitors, as souvenirs of their time with us. Click on your picture to open your album.

We have not placed any barriers to open access to the albums (password protection, etc), since we feel they will be of little interest to anyone who surfs through here by chance. They are provided for the enjoyment of their subjects: our visitors. Haste ye back!!

Carolyn & Rob came up at the Feb 2003 half-term

Sylvia & Sharon, from Alberta, were our first overseas visitors when they came here in March 2003

Chris stopped by one his way to Inverness - the hard way, on foot, along the Great Glen Way. He brought some good bottles, and news of life at LC

George & Wendy spent a few days here on their 2003 Pan-Scotland Tour

Rose & Peter spent almost a week here in Sept 2003. Rose's first trip to Scotland: we hope it will be the first of many visits to GlenAlbyn

Julie, Eileen & Jenny made a flying visit in November 2003. The pics were taken on a wintry afternoon walk at Banavie, by the Caledonian Canal

John and Jean, the longest-married couple in the known world, came up in May 2004 to verify our rainfall statistics - but in the end the sunshine won out!

Keitha and Sean came for a weekend in July: Jim's "long-lost-cousin-he-didn't-know-he-had" and her husband were en route from Edinburgh to Skye and Lewis, prior to returning to their native Canada.

Chris and Trevor stopped over on (off?) their way to Callendar in July 04.

Don and Sandra spent a weekend here in September 2004. They give good visit!!

Wendy spent a few days with us in early August '05. Weather was not too c lement, so not too many pics!

Carolyn, Rob and Janet stopped by for a week in August '05. Highlight of their trip was the Calmac Saturday afternoon cruise around the Small Isles. I've made the pics into a QuickTime movie - click on the thumb to watch.

Pete Pannett finally got here in June 2006, and had the worst welcome from the Lochaber climate of any of our visitors to date. Undeterred, he promises to return!

Adam, last seen age 12, arrived at the Fort lookig very tall and grown up. He is under strict instructions to report back to his family in Australia as to whether Ruth has chosen a suitable husband. We're not sure what he's said, but the rest of the Aussie clan are threatening to arrive next summer so that further investigations can be carried out.
